Seven Layer Taco Salad


Seven Layer Taco Salad
This is mine and my mom’s favorite snack her famous seven layer taco salad. This salad is ideal for parties or just as a quick snack and can easily be adjusted to the amount that you need. The seven layers consist of cream cheese, chili or beans, shredded cheese, lettuce, tomato, salsa, and sour cream.

Time: 10 to 15 minutes

Makes: 10-12

Things You Will Need
·         10 Single Cups or a platter
·         Spoon
·         Knife
·         Cutting board
·         Microwave
·         Chips
·         Cream Cheese
·         2 Cans Chili (with or without beans) or Beans
·         Shredded Cheese
·         Lettuce
·         Tomato
·         Salsa
·         Sour Cream
·         Olives (optional)
·         Guacamole (optional)

Directions
1.      First you will want to do is heat up your cream cheese in a microwave for about 10 seconds or until its soft
2.      Then you want to take a soon full of your cream cheese and evenly spared it at the bottom of each cup or at the bottom of your platter
3.      Next heat your chili or beans up in the microwave for about 10 to 15 seconds
4.      Now take about 2 soon fulls of your chili or beans and evenly spared it on top of the cream cheese
5.      Next take a hand full of shredded cheese and sprinkle it on top of your chili or beans
6.      Then take your lettuce and chop it up into small pieces about the size of a quarter or so with your knife
7.      Now sprinkle your lettuce pieces on top of your shredded cheese
8.      Take your tomato and cut it you into dice sized pieces with your knife
9.      Again sprinkle the tomato pieces on top of the lettuce
10.  Add a small little spoon full of salsa on the top or if your using a platter spread evenly
11.  Last add a small spoon full of sour cream on the top or if your using a platter spread evenly

And voila you have your seven layer taco salad. You can also add olives and/or guacamole on top and one more sprinkle of shredded cheese. Thanks so much for reading, have fun and enjoy.
